Women represent two sides of stem cell debate(CNN) -- A key aspect of the debate over embryonic stem cell research focuses on what to do with the embryos left over from in vitro fertilization attempts.
Advocates of stem cell research say because the embryos would likely be discarded anyway, they would be better used for research that could benefit medical science. Some opponents, however, would prefer for the embryos to be adopted by other infertile couples and used to make babies. CNN's Elizabeth Cohen talked with two women who made very different choices about the fate of their frozen embryos. |
