Supreme Court returns home Monday
By Terry Frieden WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Results of environmental testing throughout the Supreme Court building show the presence of anthrax is limited to the mailroom, court officials said Thursday night. Officials said the justices would return to their regular courtroom to hear oral arguments Monday. Except for those attending the arguments, the building will remain closed to the public Monday. The justices heard cases this week in a federal courthouse in Washington after anthrax was found in the basement mailroom of the Supreme Court building. The Environmental Protection Agency plans to clean up the court's contaminated mailroom Thursday night. The building will remain closed Friday, except for some employees, officials said. |
