WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. appeals court weighing Microsoft's antitrust case will provide live audio of the upcoming oral arguments in the software giant's appeal of an order to break up the company.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said the decision to allow the audio was made "due to the widespread public interest in this case and the limited seating available."

The court will hear oral arguments on February 26-27 in Microsoft's appeal of a lower court order to divide the company for violating antitrust laws.

The appeals court, which issued its decision about live audio last Friday, said the audio would be available to the news media through a network pool, and that live streaming audio would be available over the Internet on www.ABCNEWS.com and www.c-span.org.

Attorneys for Microsoft and the Justice Department have agreed that much of the oral arguments will be spent on whether Microsoft could bundle its Internet Explorer browser and Windows operating system, and whether the company used anti-competitive practices to maintain a monopoly.

The attorneys also will take up whether Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson's breakup order in June was fair and explore if Microsoft tried to create a monopoly by squelching its rivals.
