'Sopranos' gets potential juror bouncedATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- Potential jurors for the Gold Club trial had to fill out a lengthy questionnaire, designed to weed out those with bias against the Mafia or anyone seen with figures identified as members of the mob, lawyers said. After pronouncing the defendants "guilty as hell," from what she'd read, one juror was excused. One question on the form: Do you watch "The Sopranos?" -- referring to the acclaimed HBO drama on a Mafia family. One diehard fan revealed that he loved the show. That juror was bounced, too.
Lead defense attorney Steve Sadow said jurors with strong religious beliefs against nudity or adult entertainment were gone, and said he would ask the judge to let the jury visit the Gold Club, with strippers in full strut, "to see what goes on. It's no den of iniquity. It's no sin. It's an adult entertainment club." RELATED SITES:
