Eastender beats flu to be Fair LadyLONDON, England -- Former EastEnder Martine McCutcheon shrugged off any signs of flu as she made her stage debut. Her appearance in the musical My Fair Lady at the Royal National Theatre had looked in doubt when she was struck down with flu on Wednesday. The 24-year-old star has spent the last eight weeks being directed by Trevor Nunn in the role of Eliza Doolittle, made famous on stage by Julie Andrews and then on film by Audrey Hepburn. McCutcheon showed no signs of illness in a commanding performance on Thursday, singing classic songs such as Wouldn't It be Lover-ly and I Could Have Danced All Night to huge applause. RELATED SITES:
