LONDON, England -- Pop star Geri Halliwell showed she had recovered from the trauma of having her flat trashed by burglars as she took her pet dog to a glitzy party.

The former Spice Girl carried Harry, a two-year-old shih-tzu, into a top London restaurant for the bash to promote her new album.

The invited guests were given a glimpse of the video to her forthcoming single It's Raining Men.

A number of tracks from her album Scream If You Wanna Go Faster, which is due out in May, were also played.

A spokesman for the singer said Harry didn't have anything to eat but was treated to a bowl of water.

Halliwell stayed at a hotel after her flat was raided by burglars and was said to be devastated by the incident.

The £50,000-a-year home was trashed while she spent a weekend in Holland with Robbie Williams.

The burglar caused thousands of pounds worth of damage, and property including a computer and jewellery was stolen.

The flat was also doused in milk and blackcurrant juice by the intruder.
