Geldof's fear for Tiger Lily
LONDON, England (CNN) -- Rock star and Live Aid supremo Bob Geldof has revealed his fear that his adopted daughter Tiger Lily will forget her real parents. The star, who took the youngster in following the deaths of her parents -- British television presenter Paula Yates and rock star Michael Hutchence -- said he is making great efforts to ensure the memory of them does not fade. "I have the records, photos, videos and all that stuff for her," Geldof told Hello! magazine. Hutchence committed suicide by hanging himself in a hotel room in Sydney, Australia in 1997. Yates, Geldof's ex-wife and mother of his three daughters, was found dead at her London home in September following a heroin overdose. In December, the Official Solicitor confirmed that Tiger Lily, now aged four, should spend the rest of her childhood with Geldof and her three half-sisters. In the Hello! interview, Geldof, who had a string of hits as lead singer with the Boomtown Rats, also spoke affectionately of his children's attitude to his musical talents. He said he was in a shop once with the four girls when one of his songs came on the radio. "The kids were of course horrified, 'You're rubbish Dad etc.' The usual. "The next song coincidentally was Michael's. Tiger was listening intently. "At the end she said, 'My real dad's a better singer than you, Dad'," he said. RELATED STORIES:
