showbuzzA week in bed with J.LoNEW YORK -- On this Labor Day, we bring you a story on just how hard Jennifer Lopez has been working -- working on her physical relationship with her boyfriend, that is. According to an FHM magazine article reported in the New York Post, singer-actress J.Lo and her new boyfriend, dancer Chris Judd, recently spent an entire week in bed. It apparently happened in Hawaii, and we're assuming they didn't just lie there. "Cris and I had a lot of time to do what we both like," Lopez reported. "That really relaxed us both, to say the least. Sometimes it tired us out and we slept to get our energy levels back. I'll let your imagination do the rest." Lopez's personal life also made headlines not long ago -- when she broke up with rap mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. No word if they ever spent a week in the sack. Being a Spice not so niceLONDON, England -- Who knew being a Spice Girl was so tough? Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham will tell her story in the upcoming autobiography "Learning to Fly," and she gives details on some troubled times. On one front, Beckham says she battled anorexia. She writes that she was "obsessed" with her appearance when Spice Girls ruled the pop charts. "In the gym, instead of checking my posture or position, I was checking the size of my bottom," she writes. She apparently didn't find complete satisfaction after getting married to footballer husband David. She says she once hit him after hearing through the media that he had kissed another woman. "I just exploded and punched David in the face," she writes in an extract from her autobiography published in Britain's Daily Mail tabloid. Newspapers had said the alleged kiss occurred while Victoria was pregnant and away on tour with the Spice Girls, Reuters reports. She said she "hit him so hard I cut the inside of his mouth," despite her husband repeatedly denying the newspaper allegations. The couple has since reconciled. They have a 2-year-old son. Anne Robinson: 'Link' hipper than 'Millionaire'RADNOR, Pennsylvania -- "Weakest Link" host Anne Robinson is firing the first salvo in her pending rivalry with "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" host Regis Philbin. Robinson tells TV Guide her show has an advantage among younger viewers. "Sure, 'Millionaire' has its fans, but not among the young," Robinson says in the September 8 issue of TV Guide. "We're sharp, edgy. It's a passion of mine not to talk down to viewers or contestants." TV Guide quotes both Robinson and Philbin on who they think the worst players are on their respective quiz shows. "Those who just blurt out an answer and then later regret it," Philbin says. "Teachers are the worst," Robinson says. "Just shameless about kicking off their rivals." David Letterman Stadium?MUNCIE, Indiana -- David Letterman doesn't just want his own late-night talk show. He wants his alma mater to name a football stadium after him. T\he CBS talk show host says he's launching a campaign to name the new Ball State University stadium. "What could be more fun, on a crisp autumn Indiana afternoon, to load the family and get the picnic and have a little tailgate party out there in the parking lot of majestic Dave Letterman Stadium?" Letterman told his audience Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. Letterman is a 1969 graduate of the school. Ball State officials say they have no immediate plans to grant his wish unless he's willing to pay up to $6 million -- about half the cost of the new stadium. But Letterman isn't buying that line. "There will be no money changing hands," Letterman said. "The reason I don't need to give Ball State University money is each and every night, especially during football season, I'm giving them a million dollars in free exposure." |
