Jeanne Moos at the Westminster Dog ShowEvery dog has its day
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Thousands of dogs strutted their stuff at New York's Madison Square Garden for this year's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, which ended Tuesday. But only one could take the floor as "Best of Show," the whimsically named Bichons Frises "Special Times Just Right," known as J.R. for short. That left 2,500 other canines to -- figuratively -- lick their wounds.
But these dogs are not losers. Each and every one of them had to be named champion at a dog show just to be invited. And considering the grooming, feeding and care their owners provide, these are, indeed, some lucky dogs. CNN's Jeanne Moos stopped by the Westminster Dog Show to pay tribute to these preeminent pooches. RELATED SITE:
