(IDG) -- This September, our web-slinging friend will once again be on the lookout for a thankless city's safety in "Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro" for the PlayStation. Luckily, the Man has a whole new arsenal of special attacks and combos at his disposal to help keep evildoing at bay, including an Ice Web that lets him shatter enemies with a single punch, the self-explanatory Taser-Web, and an auto-aim feature that lets him tackle his targets with token effort and amazing arachnoid accuracy.

"Spider-Man 2" will also introduce a new wardrobe to make Peter Parker feel extra pretty, including shock-proof Insulated Armor -- perfect for when your dealing with a charged personality like Electro -- and the more generally impervious Spider-Phoenix suit. As a nifty bonus, a gallery of artwork called Parker's Portfolio will also be included in the game, capturing Spidey's in-game moments as rendered by Marvel artists. The "Spider-Man" movie doesn't lay freakish clusters of tiny eggs in theaters until May 2002; til then, look to "Electro" to satiate your Spidey-yearning.
