Unusual class teaches teens safe driving techniques
(CNN) -- In California, about 400 teenagers are hitting the road to learn skidding, braking at high speeds and driving through obstacles -- all in the spirit of safe driving. It's a driving school for teens, taught at Sears Point Raceway by professional drivers. "If you get yourself in a situation, it teaches you how to get out of it," said Jason Wollman, one of the students in the program. The instructors hope more practice handling a car through unusual situations can save teens from getting hurt or killed on the road. RELATED STORIES:
