Singing hopefuls get 15 minutes of fame on Web

(CNN) -- Can't wait for your 15 minutes of fame to come to you? Why not go to it? Fast Track to Fame is a Web site devoted to exposing the vocal prowess of everyday people.

Fast Track to Fame's founding talent scouts, Bobbie and Debbie Locke, scour karaoke bars across the country for people who want to buy a chance at being discovered. For a fee, the Lockes will set up recording time and guarantee some exposure on their Web site -- possibly even on TV.

CNN's Bruce Burkhardt joined the Lockes on their star search for an evening.
