Cars of the future (?) on view now
DETROIT, Michigan (CNN) -- Auto industry journalists have voted the retro-look Chrysler PT Cruiser and the Acura MDX sport utility vehicle as the North American Car and Truck of the Year. The announcement Monday came during the media preview phase of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. When doors open to the public on Saturday, the vehicles on display will include "concept" cars -- futuristic models you won't find in any showroom, at least not yet.
