FBI arrests 7 alleged terroristsWASHINGTON (CNN) -- The FBI has arrested seven men in Los Angeles as alleged members of the Mujahadin-e Khalq, commonly referred to as the MEK, officials said. Agency officials said the MEK is a designated terrorist organization based in Iraq that advocates the overthrow if the Iranian government. The FBI will have a news conference at 1:30 p.m. EST to announce the arrests. Officials allege that the men provided material support of a designated international terrorist organization.
