Mall closed in search for fugitiveBLOOMINGTON, Minnesota (CNN) -- Police closed the large Mall of America on Tuesday to search for a federal fugitive, a police spokeswoman said. Anthony Steven Zappe, 29, is wanted by authorities on various firearms and escape charges, a spokeswoman for the Bloomington police said. She added that he is considered armed and dangerous. The spokeswoman said her records show Zappe's name is spelled with an "e," but she said other reports have spelled it Zappa. Monday, police searched a St. Paul neighborhood for Zappe. Police came to the mall after a caller phoned authorities, saying Zappe was seen in the area. The suspect's vehicle was found at the mall. Police are working with mall security officers to search the complex. RELATED SITE:
