Jose Fernandez is part of that very tiny elite -- Latino immigrants who have made it big, financially and professionally. He travels around the world as a partner at a top law firm and sits on prestigious boards.

In the first of a three-part series, CNN's Maria Hinojosa takes a look at Fernandez' family life and how riches and success in the Anglo world haven't caused him to shed his very Hispanic identity.

You can see her report Tuesday at 9 a.m. EDT and 2 p.m. EDT.

In part two, Hinojosa will examine the boom in the Latino population in suburban communities.
