PHOENIX, Arizona (CNN) -- A dog that dodged morning rush-hour traffic on an Arizona highway must have more lives than a cat.

She is home again with only her paws showing some distress.

Animal control officers, Phoenix police and concerned motorists were in hot pursuit Thursday when the yellow Labrador retriever named "Sam" headed across six busy lanes of Interstate 17.

The chase was caught on camera by a helicopter from CNN affiliate KTVK.
