Moose on the loose takes a dip

SPOKANE, Washington (CNN) -- On a hot summer's day who doesn't like to take a cooling dip in a neighborhood pool?

It obviously seemed like a good plan to a 1,500-pound bull moose who decided to beat the heat with a swim in a swimming pool near Spokane, Washington.

After a few leisurely laps with its antlers held high above the water, the moose just climbed out of the water, jumped the fence and returned to the wild.
