An Afghan village on the edge(CNN) -- The Taliban-controlled capital of Kabul, Afghanistan, looms only three miles away from the village of Deboli, where the opposition Northern Alliance rules.
Villagers live within earshot of gunfire, in the shadow of the frontline marked by nearby hills. Nevertheless, they go about their daily routines during the day. Some venture out to fight at night. CNN's Chris Burns takes us to the village on the borderline. |
