Hong Kong arrests 26 in sex party

Apart from fetish parties and garments, the shop also has playrooms for hire

HONG KONG, China -- Hong Kong police have arrested 26 people in a raid on a sex show catering for the fetishes of wealthy and professional clients.

Police arrested 17 men and nine women on Sunday at the "Fetish Fashion" sex shop.

Half of the arrested were from overseas.

An advertisement said the dress code was "leather, uniform and fetish" and ladies would be admitted for free. It said the show would feature "Mistress Jesika" from San Francisco.

The 26, aged between 25 and 61, included the proprietor of the shop, three female performers and 18 customers. They were released on bail pending formal charges.

Local newspapers reported the 18 customers were mainly businessmen from Taiwan and Singapore and Hong Kong professionals, including lawyers and an engineer.

Rare party

Police said five undercover agents went inside the shop for a performance titled "Mixed Play Party".

Police said they had been investigating the case since February, when they received tip-offs about sex shows.

A woman who answered the phone at the shop said it would not open on Monday and was not sure when business would resume.
