He was tried for murder after a raid in which three soldiers were killed. -- Thomas Whelan, 22, executed March 14, 1921. Convicted of killing a man in Bloody Sunday shootings in Dublin on Nov. 21, 1920, when the Irish Republican Army killed 13 people. -- Patrick Moran, 33, executed March 14, 1921. Convicted of one of the Bloody Sunday deaths. -- Patrick Doyle, 29, executed March 14, 1921. Convicted of treason following attempted ambush at Drumcondra on Jan. 21, 1921. -- Bernard Ryan, 20, March 14, 1921. Convicted of treason in Drumcondra ambush. -- Frank Flood, 19, executed March 14, 1921. A close friend of Kevin Barry, he was convicted of treason in Drumcondra ambush. -- Thomas Bryan, 24, executed March 14, 1921. Convicted of treason in Drumcondra ambush. -- Thomas Traynor, 39, executed April 25, 1921. Convicted of treason in an ambush in Dublin. -- Edmond Foley, 24, executed June 7, 1921. Convicted of murdering two police officers. -- Patrick Maher, 32, executed June 7, 1921. Convicted with Foley of murdering two police officers. |
