Briton dies in Bangkok hotel fallLONDON, England -- A British backpacker has fallen to his death from the roof of a hotel in Thailand. The UK Foreign office said on Saturday that the body of Darren Hinchcliffe's was found near the Plaza Hotel in Bangkok on February 12. The 23-year-old's parents said they believed he was trying to take a photograph when he slipped. They described him as "so loveable and full of life, a real free spirit." Yvonne Hinchcliffe, from Oxspring, near Barnsley, South Yorkshire, said: "We are clinging to the fact he was up so early on the rooftop taking photos of what was supposed to be a spectacular sunrise in Thailand that morning. "We don't want to think that anything else happened to him but we will never really know as there are no witnesses." The Foreign Office spokeswoman said foul play was not suspected. RELATED SITES:
