Injured Israeli baby dies

JERUSALEM -- A five-month-old baby, critically wounded when his parent's car was stoned last Tuesday in the West Bank north of Ramallah, has died.

Yehuda Chaim Shoham had suffered severe brain damage and had been connected to a respirator.

The baby's parents said Palestinians hiding by the roadside had hurled rocks at their car, smashing through a window and striking the baby in the head as he sat in a rear car seat.

The baby's funeral was expected to be held later Monday
