Jordan removes welcome mat for Palestinians

AMMAN, Jordan (CNN) -- Palestinians who want to visit Jordan now must first get an entry permit.

Jordanian officials say the new regulation was put in place to help the Palestinian cause in the West Bank and Gaza. But Palestinians believe there is another, less kindly reason for the permit requirement.
