U2, David Gray honored with Ivor nominationsLONDON, England (CNN) -- Nominations for Britain's most prestigious music awards were announced in London this week. Either U2, Craig David or David Gray will walk off with the prize for best contemporary song at this year's 46th annual Ivor Novello awards, named in honor of the Welsh composer, actor and playwright who died in 1951. The Irish quartet's Grammy-winning "Beautiful Day" is nominated, along with Craig David's "Seven Days" and David Gray's "Please Forgive Me."
