Sadakazu Tanigaki will take over the new ministerial post with the task of turning around Japan's sluggish corporate sector, according to Kyodo news agency. It will draft bills aimed at resuscitating the private sector. Details are expected as early as next week, with a basic policy framework due this year. Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi will head a task force on revitalization that will include Tanigaki, Fukuda and the industry, labor, finance and financial services ministers.
