Halloween treats to set the scene

(InStyle) -- Just when you finally figured out how to get a good night's sleep, AMC's sixth-annual Monsterfest 24/7 will spook you right back into insomnia.
From October 25-31, AMC will feature a nonstop festival of monster movies, including "Frankenstein," "Dracula," "The Mummy" and "Godzilla," as well as a marathon of Halloween movies on October 31.
This year's Monsterfest 24/7 will also include "Short Screamers" with John Carpenter, a half-hour showcase of horror-movie shorts from amateur moviemakers.
The director will host the show's premiere on Halloween at midnight.
Another special, "Backstory: Halloween," chronicles the movie from script to blockbuster status.
So turn out the lights and turn on the tube!
