THE GUEST LISTAniston and husband Brad Pitt (still sporting that mountain-man beard), Courteney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Selma Blair, Amanda Peet, Claudia Schiffer and cast members Gyllenhaal and John C. Reilly. THE SETTINGThe SilverScreen Theatre at West Hollywood's Pacific Design Center. After the screening guests headed downstairs to Astra West, chef Charlie Palmer's new, futuristic lounge and restaurant. Attendees reveled in the all-American fare, munching on cornbread, mac and cheese and cobbler for dessert. Brown-sack goody bags were an eclectic mix of beef jerky, beauty products and a tin of "Good Girl" candy. YOU GOTTA HAVE FRIENDS
"She's one of my best friends in the whole world," said a proud Cox Arquette of Aniston. "I can't even imagine doing 'Friends' without her." Castmate Kudrow crossed the theater to give the star a hug before the film began. THE GOOD GIRLThe role, which is a huge departure from Rachel Green (no makeup, no designer clothes and a mastered Texan accent), was a challenge for the star. "I love how hard it was to exercise acting muscles that have been dormant," she said. Does she live up to the film's title in real life? "Sometimes," she explained with a smile.
