Stars look seductive in satin
PEOPLE (PEOPLE) -- What could be sexier than sliding on a silky satin slip dress? When worn by stars like Alicia Silverstone says Anne Klein designer Charles Nolan, the look just "exudes femininity." The sensual style "is a throwback to the Lana Turner 1930s vibe," says Decades vintage boutique owner Cameron Silver. Today's lustrous variation, says designer Narciso Rodriguez, reflects "the way women want to look -- more polished, less cluttered and still very refined and elegant. It just hugs the body in a really beautiful way."
But while bedroom eyes accessorize the slip dress perfectly, Silver has a caveat. "It had better be a luxurious version," he says, "or you will look like you're wearing a nightgown." Karen Brailsford contributed to this report.
