The power of nature: Iceland steams ahead

(CNN) -- These days there's a lot of talk about energy independence. And one European country is already well on the way there.

Its electricity comes from rivers and hot springs -- there's not a coal-burning or nuclear-powered electric plant in the country.

And now this nation is working toward an alternative for petroleum-powered cars, trucks and buses.
