'Most Wanted' suspect arrested
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A fugitive on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List was arrested Tuesday evening in Los Angeles. Michael Scott Bliss has been wanted by the states of Vermont and New Hampshire on charges of repeatedly molesting a 9-year-old girl. The Bliss case was featured on the television show "America's Most Wanted" in February, according to an FBI press release. Someone who recognized him on the show called an FBI office to report that Bliss was working at a Los Angeles hotel. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies arrested Bliss in Los Angeles without incident. Assistant FBI Director Ronald Iden in the Los Angeles field office called the arrest of Bliss "another example of the importance of citizen involvement." |
