Sharon to meet with Bush next weekCNN Washington Bureau WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will meet with President Bush next Monday at the White House, according to officials. It will be the sixth Bush-Sharon meeting and will follow weekend consultations between Bush and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The discussions come as the administration struggles to find agreement to resume a political dialogue between the Israelis and Palestinians, and considers a summer conference to discuss the Middle East. Sharon visited the White House last month, but he cut his meeting with Bush short after receiving word of a suicide bombing near Tel Aviv. The terror attack at a billiards club killed 15 people.
