Missing girl's caretakers charged with fraudCharges include making false statements
MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Pamela Graham and Geralyn Graham, the caretakers of Rilya Wilson, a missing Florida girl, were arrested Wednesday and charged with public assistance fraud. In addition, police sources said two other people were charged. One of them is Leo Epson, described as the son of Geralyn Graham. The identity of the fourth person was not disclosed. The four face a variety of charges -- including public assistance fraud, making false statements and making false affidavits, as well as vehicle title and driver's license fraud. Police sources said the Pamela and Geralyn Graham were arrested by officers from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The Grahams made headlines when Florida's Department of Children and Families admitted in April 2001 they had lost track of Wilson, whom the Grahams said they had turned over to state officials in January or February 2001. Rilya Wilson was 4 years old at the time Geralyn Graham said she turned the child over to a DCF visitor. Her sixth birthday was Sunday. The Wilson case focused public attention on Florida's troubled child welfare system and led to a shake-up at the top of the agency.
