MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- A Tropical Storm Edouard continued to weaken Tuesday as it moved towards the Florida coast, the National Weather Service reported.

It was expected to make landfall Wednesday on Florida's north-central coast.

Dolly is moving toward the north near 16 mph, and it is expected to continue this movement during the next 24 hours.

Dolly's maximum sustained winds were last clocked at near 50 mph, with stronger gusts. Little change in the forecast is expected during the next 24 hours.
