Colombia bomb blast kills 3, injures at least 11

BOGOTA, Colombia (CNN) -- A bomb went off in front of a police station Tuesday during the morning rush hour, killing three people and wounded at least 11 others, police said.

The explosives were apparently in a car in front of the station, police said.

The Metropolitan Police headquarters is only a few blocks from the presidential palace.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
