Pakistan express train derails

QUETTA, Pakistan (CNN) -- An express train plunged off a railroad bridge west of here Thursday killing at least 16 people and injuring another 55, Pakistan Railway officials said.
The officials said the railway bridge was old but in good condition and the railway was "considering the possibility of terrorism," one railway official said.
Eight cars of the train derailed as the bridge collapsed.
The accident cuts Quetta off from the rest of the country.
The accident occurred at 10 a.m. local time at Dambouli, an area 150 kilometers (100 miles) west of Quetta.
The train was traveling from Rawalpendi to Quetta.
Rescuers had recovered 12 bodies from the wreckage and were looking for others.
