HYDERABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- A bomb has ripped through a public bus in Hyderabad, killing two and injuring at least 13, police said.

Six people were seriously injured in Saturday's incident and are being treated in hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast, authorities said.

It was the city's third bus bomb in four months.

A blast in September killed one person and injured two while an explosion in November killed two and injured nine.

Ethnic and religious violence have wracked the Sindh province for years.

Authorities have blamed Islamic militant groups for many attacks.

Additionally, Pakistani security forces have been working closely with the FBI to hunt down and detain suspected al Qaeda operatives based inside Pakistan.

On Friday, Pakistani police arrested nine suspected al Qaeda members in Lahore. (Story)

Pakistani police said one of the nation's most wanted militants was killed along with three other people in Karachi on Thursday.

Asif Ramzi, a leader of the extremist group Lashkar e-Jhangvi, was wanted in connection with several bombings including an attack at the U.S. Consulate in Karachi.

Authorities also believe he may have been involved in the kidnapping and killing of U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl.

Fire officials said they believe Ramzi and three others were killed when a rocket they were working on exploded.
