Jet passenger's transatlantic toilet traumaOSLO, Norway -- A female passenger on a Scandanavian Airways flight has filed a complaint to the airline after she was stuck to the plane's toilet for two hours. The passenger, an American who did not wish to be identified, apparently flushed the toilet before she got up and was held fast to the seat by its powerful vacuum system. The woman filed the complaint after her ordeal on a Boeing 767 flight last year, the Norwegian VerdensGang newspaper reported on its Web site. It was only after the plane touched down in New York that the woman was able to be freed, the report said. "She could not get up by herself and had to sit on the toilet until the flight had landed so that ground technicians could help her get loose," a Scandanavian Airways official told Reuters news agency. "She was stuck there for quite a long time." |
