MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Florida (CNN) -- Coalition aircraft dropped leaflets over southern Iraq Saturday, U.S. Central Command said, the 11th time in three months the planes have done so.

The U.S. and British forces dropped 120,000 leaflets over both Al Majar and Qal at Sukkar around 8 a.m. ET, CentCom said in a news release. Al Majar is about 200 miles southeast of Baghdad, and Qal at Sukkar is approximately 130 miles southeast of Baghdad.

The leaflets referred Iraqis to radio frequencies where coalition forces are broadcasting information about U.N. Security Council Resolution 1441, United Nations weapons inspectors in Iraq, Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's reign, and other topics, CentCom said.

The broadcasts warn Iraqis that "Saddam uses the military to persecute those who don't agree with his unjust agenda."

It also tells them what life in Iraq might be like without their leader, comparing their country to Afghanistan: "Once the Taliban was removed from power, the standard of living drastically improved. Relief aid is pouring into Afghanistan and is appropriately distributed. Schools are open and people all across Afghanistan are better off."

Another message reads: "Saddam Hussein has already used chemical weapons on his fellow countrymen. The world community is working towards the halt of the proliferation of these weapons and asks for your support."
