Under the magnifying glass: Insects

(CNN) -- Insects pollinate our flowers and trees, they produce bounty like silk and honey and continue the ecological cycle. Too bad they have a public relations problem.
Maybe their beady compound eyes and six hairy legs are repulsive. Maybe their antennae and exoskeleton don't inspire affection, but these creepy-crawlers are everywhere, and they are vital to our existence.
