BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: For the second time this week, Christians in Pakistan under attack with deadly results yet again. It happened this morning near Islamabad.
Our bureau chief there, Ash-Har Quraishi, with the very latest now on the ground by way of video phone -- Ash-Har, hello.

ASH-HAR QURAISHI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hello, Bill.

Well, this latest attack occurred just before 8:00 a.m. local time in a town called Taxila, just west of Islamabad, the capital. Apparently, according to witnesses, three men came to the compound at the Christian hospital there and after a brief scuffle with guards entered the compound and lobbed two grenades at a group, at a crowd of staff members exiting the chapel after services in the morning.

They've killed three nurses, female nurses, and also, police tell us that one of the attackers was killed, as well, after one of his grenades went of prematurely, hitting him in the chest.

Now, according to police there was security assigned to this specific hospital, but it was not present at the time of the attack. Officials, however, are telling us that they are looking into the possibility that there may be a terrorist ring that may be planning and perpetrating these incidents and they're investigating that right now -- Bill.

HEMMER: Ash-Har Quraishi on the ground in Islamabad, thank you.
